CELEBRATING 34 YEARS! This year will be an especially good year for the Guiliano family they own and operate M&M Italian American Deli, and are celebrating its 34th year of serving quality food. M&M is located at 256-11 Hillside Avenue. There are three generations of Guilianos, starting with Grandpa Matt Sr. who makes the sausages of pure pork. No scraps, trimmings or preservatives are added. The mozzarella is made fresh daily, as well as the sauces and soup. Matt Jr. handles all the hot food catering, ordering and other tasks that need to be done. Mike, the other M, and partners with Matt, takes care of the cold catering. Jimmy is also part of the family business; he prepares all the salads fresh daily.

The cole slaw is especially good but so are the Provolone stuffed olives, mozzarella and tomato salads."We have the finest ravioli, manicotti and stuffed shells delivered fresh weekly, and our bread is still provided by our original bakery,Giangrasso of Brooklyn," says Vicky, Matt's wife who comes in to lend a hand on the weekends. "At M&M, we have one motto, and it is to serve the best quality of any product! So when you order Boar's Head, Hormel, Auricchio Provolone, Asiago, Reggiano Parmiggiano, or Locatelli Romano, that is what you get!"

Besides the finest cold cuts, pastas, salads, fresh meats and catering packages, you will also find a large selection of groceries and specialty items imported from Italy. All their catering is done on the premises using only top of the line ingredients. There are also daily hot lunch specials, and their heroes can't be beat.For those of you who have never been to M&M, come and give them a try You will find yourself feeling part of the family and are sure to be able to share a laugh with Matt, Mike and Jimmy.
